Default Do I Need A Map Tweak?

Had my car mapped recently

2003 sti, FMIC, Full 3", HKS induction, 3 port, walbro, Bailey Dump Valve

Car is mapped to 1.4 bar. But i have now returned to a standard OEM Recirc valve as the bailey wasnt opening properly.

Does this require a Map tweak

Cheers

Might. The VTA dump valves cause over-fuelling, so your car MIGHT now be under fuelled, which is bad news.

Best to conatact the mapper who did it originally.

Just check of AFR and Det and if its everything OK,you should don't need tweak of map.

Someone with a obd 2 cable and laptop with the correct software can do it. Bit of a shame you had the car mapped with the bailey on, they are a bag o shoite. Not digging at you, I bought one too at one point. Re-circ and happy now.

The only reason it would need altering would be if the bailey was leaking when mapped which should have been picked up during mapping if it was.

A quick check wouldnt hurt and woukd be wise though.
