yeah i'd go with import car parts, or try a bearing specialist if you have the number from the bearing, could be cheaper. I paid £61.69 each for the rear ones on my 04 sti they came as a kit with seals and circlips, suppose the fronts will be around the same sort of money.

tbh, im not really sure what side it is.

when im going above 30 mph ish, i am starting to get a drong from the front area of the car.

the faster i go, the louder it gets.

if im going lets say 50 mph, take it out of gear, it sounds the same, rev the engine and it sounds the same, and from going on what other people have said on here, it is likely to be a wheel bearing.

there is no play in the wheels, but on another thread, someone else has the same sysptons and it turned out to be a bearing.

i have seen the kits on ebay for around £35 delivered

Sounds like the same noise I had Ian, it's sort of a woooo woooo woooo woooo noise that gets louder with speed I know it's hard to hear which side it's coming from that's why I got 2, did the side I thought it was first and it was still there, but not half as loud so both mine were noisy, sorted now though and none of mine had play in them that's why it's so hard to diagnose, yeah and that price from import car parts was for genuine Subaru bearings. I'd be wary of eBay ones if not genuine parts. It's a pain in the *** job to do anyway, so best do it once.

Nsk and ntn are both Japanese bearing manufacturers so both should be good, I'd go with import car parts though coz they have a good rep and fast delivery. But it's up to you really.
