Simple engine mods for MY94
Hi all, New to Scooby Ownership, and having just got the old girl on the road after stripping and spraying her, im now looking for simple and tidy engine mods what so service regularly.
If you have some links and advice i would be very gratefull.
The car is a 1994 WRX MY94 spec.
How easy is a FMIC and external wastegate?
Any advantage in changing the DV?
Silly questions but new to Scoobys.
Thanks
Rich

Hello mate welcome
First you need to set your self a goal what you want to achieve, what mods have you already done then you need to consider your budget too then surely you will be able to get a good advise here.

As far as i know it is a totally standard import, albeit a different colour, Mercedes McLaren Grey
Im looking for simple mods to increse power, i.e, breathing better, exhaust, manifolds, intake , wastegate,
so some simple power upgrades that wont unduely stress the engine in its current form
thanks all

Unfortunately nothing is simple or cheap with these cars! To get more power the car will need to be mapped for most modifications that you do.
Andy Forrest's site provides some good guides to the stages of modification.

I believe it does yes, as it is 17 years old now, i was thinking of re bushing the entire car as it probably due, not so much poly bush tho as i understand this can provide quite a hard ride and its a daily user.
