Default Head Gone on 'P' Impreza

Hi guys,

I have a P reg impreza estate 2.0 Turbo and love it.

However, the water pump went on the motorway and one or both of the heads have gone.

Can anyone advise on anywhere i can get the work done to fix my baby and of a rough price please.

Thank you

Welcome try API engines in warwickshire, and price wise is about 800-1200 quid on average but David will go though your options, just depends what needs doing.

Tbh mate it may be a LOT cheaper getting a second hand engine, as said above could get near £1k, where as a second hand engine could be around the £500 mark.

But worth finding out whats gone wrong first.

I would avoid the 2nd hand engine market, its not quite a big but most will need sorting out as they will be silly miles and similar issues to your own, stick with getting the HG's done and go from there
