PSi3 Data monitor help
Hi,
I have just bought a psi3 data monitor for my 2004 sti type uk (version 9) and wondered if these are ok to use on a std (non mapped) car?
I have seen a disclaimer saying the manufacturer is not responsible for any damage caused by altering the settings.
Are these units not just plug and play? Is it possible to alter anything by accident and damage the engine?
Dave

Did you get the manual when you bought it? Coincidentally, I was sent a pdf file of the user manual last night by a very kind member on here, if you want a copy send me your email.
Have you fitted it yet and what version is it, ie. VFD, LED?

Remove the single din pod and it fits in the double din bracket either above or below the single din stereo - it needs a couple of screws each side to hold it in place but it really is easy

Thank you for the reply, its probably me being slow here but the pod I have got replaces the clock on the top of the dash.
I have removed the original now and it looks like you screw the psi3 in place then slip the cover over. I'm being a bit cautious because I don't want to damage the unit. Also i'm wondering the best route for the cable, i'm asuming the ecu point is on the drivers side below and right of the steering wheel.

I would feed the cable down into the area where the head unit and aircon controls live, then take a right turn into the steering wheel cowling. You'll be in the right area then.
