Default Type R BEARINGS gone.... Advice please....

Hello my type r v5 done 86000 miles, just had the bearings go, would like a bit of advice on where to go from here..
I have had couple quotes for a rebuild,, looking at around £2500.. Thanks Chris.

big end? shell? what was the cause of the failure? is the £2.5K for a complete drive in, drive out rebuild? what are you getting for your money. we need a bit more information to give you an informed opinion.

Driving it hard seems to have caused the problem, it seems its gonna be a complete bottom end rebuild, im still waiting out for a breakdown of the details (im out the country right now waiting on an e mail) as far as it seems yes this will be a drive out build for £2400

You need to get an exact break down in wat parts are been renewed for the cost..

Never go by price alone.
