Default 2011 saloon stereo swap USB advice

Not many of us have these yet but apart from all you lucky ones that got the 320r upgrades

Have any of you seen the back of the stereo and can advise if an after Market one will just fit in as the 2008 models did.

My only reservation is how do I fit the media bit that the USB and aux ports in the arm rest , are these special connectors or are they all inter wined into the iso

I just don't wanna loose them

I'm looking at the new pioneer avic when it drops next month

The Pioneer Satnav's supplied as Subaru upgrades come with required cables and a replacement USB/Aux port as part of the "fitting kit".
It also includes the "comfort adapter" CA-R-SUB.299HA so that the steering wheel controls operate and a 2-DIN trim panel/fitting kit 12.301286-04
You will also have to fit a replacement mic for the handsfree as the oem one will not work.

All parts are supplied by Pioneer so are available.

It's going to take a week or two to get the hang of the steering wheel and gismos, more like a F3 car

I'm going to have to look for an idiots guide
