Polar performance chip is the best.I have one in my 1993 wrx at the mo.The best is save your money and get a Apexi,Simtek and get the car mapped.I'm going to fit a Autronic ecu which has anti lag, launch control and runs no air flow meter. But if your just after a chip then get the Polar Performance chip.Good luck.

kfc not bad but i prefer mcdonalds
i think if its been modified it really needs a remap although im unsure if you can do that with your ecu, im sure somebody will tell you.

A chip will not allow you to run different headers safely, neither will a PPP ecu.

And i disagree with the comment above about a PPP being better. I've seen cars running a chip to 300bhp you don't get that with a prodrive ecu.
