Hi All,

I am a very recent Scooby owner!

The Impreza I own is a 1997 Import Sti 555 with TY752VBCAA transmission.

The question I have is does the import gearbox have short legs, as in, will the car run out of puff at 115mph?

If so Has the Uk box got longer legs?

I have looked at the gearbox ratio chart but this made no sence to me!

Your car is still limited to 115mph,you are don't need new gearbox.

Not sure,but i think somewhere around 140-150mph.

Not sure Andy,but maybe someone with more experience with classic will tell you more

Out are two types of de-limiter,mechanical and electronic,but not sure which one you have

Just a thought,

Being a V3 sti It has a speedo cable, so is the electronic delimiter still usable?
