Any other mods planned?? The gains from the RCM or any CAI on a standard car are virtually zero. I'd personally spend the money elsewhere and not either, run the risk of running it without mapping or spending the cost of mapping just the CAI when you're not going to gain much except a bit more noise

You have to be careful with the extra air altering the MAF signal and it not being recalibrated to account for it.
I would, at the very least, get the AFRs check out...
But agree with BODSKI's post above... Unless the OEM filter is causing a restriction, then it's simply an unnecessary 'mod'. And one that could cause you issues....

Looking at getting a better exhaust, so maybe i'll just wait to fit it when i have the exhaust. As for other mods, i am probably going to leave the engine at that for now but it will be getting a lick of carbon inside and out. I have the bonnet , boot and spoiler on its way and the front wings and doors are ordered. We are in the process of prototyping interior parts as well.

Yep. Anything around the 350bhp (more, even?) mark, is good enough for the OEM induction setup.
Only change it if you have to i.e. if it would be a restriction to a future power goal (and/or if it fouls a FMIC hard pipe, etc) before a remap...
