Default Lost power after fitting FMIC

So had a little fettle today... decided to fit the Autobahn88 FMIC i've bought from someone on here. The car is not going to be driven with it before i'll get the apexi but nevertherless after fitting it i started thr car to see the result. At first the revs were jumping, so i decided to reset the ecu. After reseting it it was ok so i switched the ignition off and continued to work on cutting the bumper. After good 1 hour i put on the bumper and started the car again...the revs were jumping again but after a while it was holding 700 rpm. So i took a car for a little drive , as the revs were building up to 3k rpm i pressed smoothly accelerator pedal to see if its boosting but it wasn't . I could only hear the waste gate sound or smtn??? That squirrel sound, but the car was underpowered.

The only mods are apexi intake , standart downpipe and fujitsubo cat back. Check all the hoses, jubilee clips etc... couldn't find any leaks...
Any suggestions???

Have you re-mapped it? If not then it's to be expected.

i know that it might be the case, but what exactly can cause it? We all know that u need a remap, but still some cars run ok on them.

The car should still run fine even without a remap, as octanejunky said it could be something wrong with the core.

Intercooler pipe leak, dump valve leak, intercooler core leak.

If I were a betting man I put money on dumpvalve is openning.

Block it off to test.

You probably have a loose clamp somewhere. Fmic are difficult to fit right first time, leaking clamps etc. . .

It should run without a remap however a remap will get the best out of it and make sure your fueling is safe and correct.

I would check all clamps again, and block off the dv port.

Did you fit a non-OEM turbo intake at the same time e.g. a cheap silicone job?

Could be that collapsing under full throttle/max vac situations...

Yup , but didn't have to block it , have found that the smallest hose was off as the damp valve was upside down i couldn't seee it. Before all that checked all the clamps .

Forgot to mentione that one, had fitted it already couple years ago as the OEM one did colapse near the turbo. Now the car holds revs @ 800 rpm without any jumping etc.

Thanks guys thats been very helpfull.. Much appreciated.
