I need a new battery, so will be buying and fitting it tomorrow.

!:-Its a 2006 wrx, I have heard when changing the battery it affects the alarm and kicks in the immobilizer, so whats the best way to fit a new battery?

2:- Whats a reasonable price to pay for a new battery. Is halfords any good or will I get ripped off?

 

Just replaced battery on 2003 impreza..no problems,as long as you dont leave battery off the car for more than a few minutes(apparently)

 

Do a search for "what battery" and my user name, list and prices of batteries people bought.
