Did he say why he had to phone Subaru 2.5 - 3 hours for that job providing everything comes undone as it should, Things don't always go to plan but if I were you I would want to know exactly what's going on

Best case hes waiting for parts worst that loose pulley bolt has caused wear on the end of the crank (still repairable)id phone for peace of mind.
