Default oat antifreeze

just fitted a new rad to my 1997 sti v4 iv purchesed some oat antifreeze by comma xtream g40 i went for this as its silicate free and aparently jap cars need silicate free stuff ,but iv just found out that oat "organic acid technology" antifreeze can damage seals and gaskets in some cars anyone know if its safe to use this in my car any advice please

oh well noboady knows if its safe so iv just put it in

As long as you flush out the old properly, will be fine Have Motul OAT in my classic

i put halford oats in mine and it made a right mess. something reacted and it filled with sludge, i had to drain and refill with comma non-oats. no probs since.

yer i flushed it out good it took about 7 liters to fill it anyway
