thanks for the input guys
do people run nitrous on these set ups?
if not whats the reason?
running meth seems to be the popular route for temporary increasing power, whys this?

If your going to keep the car as a road car why not look at one of the standard position Turbo's. GT35 will be quite laggy on a 2.1.
I had my rotated set up made by Meercat
http://www.meercat-exhausts.com/
Had a lot of work on the RA done by Scott down there and the prices are really competative. I used my own GT spec headers and 3 bolt uppipe, my own 3" downpipe and had them modded to suit where i wanted everything to go. Worked out very very well. Scott also done all my intercooler pipework using alloy pipes I had. Cant recommend the guys down there highly enough.
Then had it ceramic coated by Stewart Black and he is only over in west lothian

Some pics here and on the page after, the pics in situ make it look like the wastegate is very close to the drive shafts but its the angle the pics were taken.

The GT3076 (GT30R) really isn't a reliable 550bhp turbo on pump fuel. The GT35R will do it easily on a well set up engine, but unless it's going to be a race (drag, or track) car, it will be pretty laggy for a fast road car.
You say you don't want to run methanol, something that could just be on a second map, for the occasions you may want to use it, but you ask about nitrous, something that's generally a pita to get re-filled, is expensive, and doesn't last very long, unless, this is for drag racing ?
Mark.

i may then consider a second map running meth depending what function i have on my ecu, but i dont want to have to run it constantly to make the power and the car drivable/usable on the road.
the problem for me being i know nothing about sourcing it, mixing it, working out ratios, ect - have nowhere safe to store it.
and i would really only usde it om 1/4 mile events ect - so i have to feul on v-power drive to an event try and calculate how much fuel ive used, then add appropriate amount of meth for the remaining feul to give the correct ratio that the second map is set for?
or am i over complicating things?
