i need to get a new maf for my w reg turbo 200o uk car.... where do you guy recomend ?
iam waiting for a reply from ember (spooks) as he said he has a gen subaru maf can buy from him....

Is the MAF you bought off your mate the latest "green stripe/post-2006" manufactured one - as in the link on post # 39?

 

i dont know .. he told me its brand new he got it direct from subaru

 

Hopefully, it will be then. There's nothing wrong as such with the earlier "green dot/1999-2006" one - just that the redsigned one is allegedly better (more reliable).

When you get it, check out the whited stenciled 4-digit code on it - if it has a "6" as the first digit, then it's the later, better design. Plus obviously the green stripe. See posts 19, 20 and 22:-
