Default 2005 blob eye exhaust

Im haveing a exhaust fitted tmrw from the turbo back its going on a 2005 wrx wagon with ppp, but ive been told that it may need a remap can any 1 put my mind at rest please?

On WRX you can fit exhaust without remap..

It's not compulsory on a wrx until a later date as their ecu's are quite good at self learning, i would not recommend thraping the car everywhere without a remap though, if you are planning to keep the car/mods long term then a remap is recommended. To get the performance gain and to make it a 100% safe, you need a remap.

To enjoy the benefit of the exhaust, particularly if decatted, a remap is recommended. That way you will see more bhp as well as more burble
