Default head gasket?

had a problem with the misses my95wrx its overflowing through expansion bottle behind headlight and when i removed cap i saw bubbles constantly coming through, the temp gauge stays mid way doesnt overheat and stat is opening and fans working etc. could it still be head gasket?

Have you changed the coolant in it mate,does that like HG if not im afraid.

ohh not good then mate,it might be worth bleeding the system to see if there's an air lock.

do you know if the previous owner had done anything? may be an airlock if your lucky? is there any oil in the water or other way about?
under the oil cap can you see any white sludge/crap or water etc?
i have had both HG failure and airlocks and can both sometimes have similar efects

ive bled the system had airlocks on mine before the bloke i bought it off never ran it due to electrical problems and the temp gauge not working so i fixed problems then ran it up checking and bleeding everything.

In that case i'd say you can only be looking at 1 problem then...HG failure

Tried swapping rad cap for a known good one? A leaking rad cap will let coolant out and this can be hard to tell from a failed HG.
