Timing Belts
We need to get the belt changed shortly and we will probably end up getting a Cosworth kevlar timing belt and a water pump for our blobeye.
But i noticed they do a STi pink one and it cost more. Is this any better or is it the fact were just paying for the "STi"
Also what is the ball park figure for a garage to charge for fitting only of belt, idlers, tensioner and pump?
Thanks

i'd be happy with the cosworth one, plus im pretty sure i have heard that the pink rubs off the sti cambelt etc.... not 100% sure though.
dont forget to try graham goode on ebay they use there own spec cambelts for their own rebuilds & are very good prices...... thats what i opted for & its a perfect fit & easy to do with all the timing markings on etc.
edit to say, just check with g.goode if you are running big power etc..... to see if their cambelt is suitable. im on 280/300 ish & the cambelt is great & was only £36 delivered
