Do you know about releasing the gearbox fork via the cover plate on the box? Its needed before you can seperate the box from the engine...

absoloute doddle mate should have it done in a couple of hours. most of the time is spent getting to the engine, one your there it just falls to bits. first timers fail on the clutch relese bearing shaft. located on the passenger side of the bellhousing is a 10mm hex bung under that is the shaft, m6 bolt with a washer on it pulls it self out.

good luck

yes motor out the top, you can leave the turbo, headers, uppipe, alternator and p/s on and still get it out easily.

just rad , down pipe,ac pump and cooler to take off then all the vac pipes and throttle cable to move out the way. then you have a big paper weight
