Default Up side down front mount

Anybody got any advice on this or actuall done it ???
Thinking of having a go but if there is anybody with advice or pictures or pipe work runs it would be greatly appreciated, also if I can use most of the original pipework to save hasstle even better

Cheers boss but that looks like the intercooler pipes will be the same length, I want to flip front mount up side down and go straight into engine bay near each headlight. anybody help ????

just do it its easy, flip the core over then mock up pipe work to suit, get it welded job done. You can use the original pipe work to make the new pipework but it will obviously need chopping and welding as required

Shorter, more direct pipework... Plus the pipework isn't down near road level, so the risk of it getting hit by stuff and getting knackered/coming adrift is reduced.

if your talking about daz davies his car has a front mounted turbo, so different again. i dont know if it makes much difference or not tbh, i went from a pretty much stock 2l wrx motor to the 2.5 pictured but it cant hurt.

Easy as that lol, bit easier as you have reversed inlet and twisted tubby and no air con, bit different for me with normal manifold and tubby set up, might wait and see once the bumper is off, cheers, keep em coming, nice set up by the way

trust me i had my fair share of head scratching moments building mine ! the same principles apply tho just your pipework routing will be different, measure twice cut once thanks for the comment
