Any other tips ? The fairy liquid method didn't work, as by the time I lift the bonnet, it has all burnt away.

You dont drive it with the fairy liquid on fella
Just put it on the pipes while under the bonnet standing still of course and rev it hard to make a bit of boost and watch for bubbles

Must be a very small leak then if it didnt show while revving stationary mate so put your hand in your pocket and get it booked in with a specialist.

My mums plant sprayer??? hahahah

Stop smoking your mums plants and put her sprayer back mate.

Go round all joints and check them mate, check one - try the car, next one, check car - etc.

I'd go with Scottydouks reply and get an idiot lying over the engine. Get him to bring his mums plant skoosher....
