Hi Guys and Girls,

Im looking for a change and am thinking of taking off the rear wing but before i do i thought id ask the people who have already done it a few questions.

1, did it have any negative affects on the handling?
2, how did you fill holes? im thinking some rubber bungs but unsure of size and where to get them from.
3, any pictures?

cheers.

1. i havent noticed anything bad from not having a wing. maybe some some high speed runs may be a problem.

2. i found a boot with no holes in from new.
you can use bungs, carbon stickers etc, or have the holes filled.

3.

1. Going from a std mid level Impreza spoiler I can say I have spotted no upset to the handling, there may be some difference in moving from a larger Sti 5,22bb or proper track spoier though.
2. I used vinyl to cover my holes

Does anyone know of a windtunnel test or something that documents the wings effect? I did see a bugeye test once, some russian site (thank god for google translate), it showed the bug wing to be very effective..
