opinions please , spoiler or NO spoiler ?
here i go again
asking for opinions
very unlike me lol.
well, the scoobs been off the road all week having the skirts and rear spoiler repainted for the 2nd time cuz the 1st time was crap, different bloke this time.i am very pleased with the skirts and he sorted my front bumper that i dinged and repaired myself badly, lol.
anyhow, the rear spoiler wasn't ready and i needed the car for this weekend so he taped up the holes and sent me on my merry way.
i like the look of it spoiler-less,certainly different seeing a scoob without a huge wing on the back and im thinking of getting him to fill the holes in and painting them
heres the pics, scuse the gaffer tape
wot u reckon ?

It's certainly different and I think it does quite suit the white car! I can see why you'd keep it like that.
If I was going to keep it like that though, I'd like to change the front so it had no scoop - stealth Scooby!
But personally, I like my Impreza to look like an Impreza. Not too, dare I say it, Chav but with a nice spoiler and a big exhaust.
So thats me on the fence then!!

Did you used to have it stickered up?
Thinking about it, leave the spoiler off for a bit. Like you say, not a big thing to put it on again.
Does it effect the handling etc or can't you tell yet?

IMHO if you are gonna leave the spoiler off, you need to remove the 'spats' from behind the wheel arches too, as it spoils the lines of the car.

Handling?
Thought the spoiler was there to stabilise the handling at high speeds?

I think it looks weird with no spoiler at all. Don't like it. But RON's looks . If you want understated I'd go for something like his.
I personally prefer a larger spoiler on an Impreza, but I do feel the STi6 spoiler is a bit OTT.

My car gets no attention whatso ever now, it just blends into the crowd....... so much so that the flippin keys have been in it for 3 days, until I realised this morning when I started to search for them........yikes... won't do that again!!
