Help please fellow Scoobs !
I've not had much joy with my posting in the ICE section so I thought I'd try a more general question
> 2005 STi Blobeye UK spec
> Infinity Basslink
> Sony Amp for rear 6x9's
Is the metal on the back of the rear seat sturdy enough to mount the Basslink and Amp
I've played with MDF on the boot floor but as it's so uneven I gave up after smashing up the MDF with a hammer
Any advice welcome

Hi
I've bolted amps to the back of rear seats in my previous cars (not scoobs) and they were fine, i use self tapping screws, not too long though, screws in your back aren't too comfy. The seats have to stay rigid in a crash so it would probably be ok with an amp of a couple of kilos.
Anyone else got an opinion on this?
