Default How soft can you go with BC's

As above, I was wondering how soft a setting you could get with BC's, but still lowering the car about 25mm. Never really been happy with the shocks on my spec D, not the handling as this is brilliant but just the ride quality and noise they seem very unforgiving or maybe im just getting old

I was going to go for these but was told there wasn't much difference between the settings so I've decided to go for Tein's.

I know what you mean about harsh. I only have lowering springs on mine with 18's. and it is sometimes so harsh.

But then again, i love it.

I have Prodrive lowering springs too,
Even with the standard springs on the ride quality is very very poor, you dont have to set up a car with really crashy/bumpy shocks to have good handling. Classics ,bug and blobs weren't like this

Is the car on normal ride height?
Is it a softer, quieter more comfortable ride than standard?

I lowered my car 35mm/35mm F & R and run 5 and 10 clicks F & R on my BC's. Firm enough for enthusiastic driving but comfy enough for the Mrs.
I did run them at 15/15 first but it was too hard for a permanent setting.

Is yours a blob tho? because the ride quality was better than the hawkeye from standard.
Could you have gone any softer with the set-up or would you be scrapping and stuff?

It's a MY05 STi, and the 5/10 setting is pretty close to the original feel of the suspension.
I haven't tried it on softer settings as I haven't felt the need.
I took a friend out in it at the weekend for a demo run as they are thiunking of fitting BCs to their hawk. They said it was on a par with the hawk for comfort.

If its on par with the hawk then I would have to go softer as im getting fed up with the condition of the roads around my area and the wife saying it hurts her **** when hitting bumps

Got Mine Set Lowered about 90mm Fear 40mm Rear and still manage to get them set on 16 clicks... exactly half way from Soft to Hard. I have Low Pro Tyres aswell, and the ride really isnt that bad, have to mind potholes, and slow over speedbumps, but other than that perfectly useable as a daily driver.

It might be usable as a daily driver but in my opinion its not nice the hawkeye set-up is just not very good, maybe your right and its much more of a comfortable ride with the BC's over the standard.

It would still be nice to hear from anyone who has BC's and achieved a much quieter and softer ride over the standard hawkeye setup.
