What does it feel like?

The reasaon I ask it that last night I was giving the girl a bit of a work out, and after I hit full boost (maybe a second or two) it totally lost power for a split second (the boost guage went round to 1bar) then kicked back in at 0.8bar.

Is there any more info on overboosting, as I'm not entirely au fait with the concept at the mo.
