Default Fitting an 8 bolt Gearbox to a 4 bolt engine??

Can it be done, and if so anyone know how and got any pics??

why would you need pictures or a "how to" you just bolt it on with the original two bolts and two studs.

Erm cos I don`t know if it will fit or not, my mate says no, but others say yes.

And if it does go what do you have to change if anything, and if there is then seeing whats what is easier than trying to read it.

Yes can be done..I tapped one of the gearbox holes to hold on starter motor...

nothing to do other than unbolt your old box and re bolt the new one except leaving out 4 bolts., also make sure that your rear diff is compatible and that you swap the speedo drive over so that its cable rather than electric.

not needed on 5speed box as far as i am aware.

i stand corrected, i was always led to believe only the 6 speed needed tapping for the starter.
