Check for air leaks, split hoses and cracked coil packs first.
How old are your spark plugs?
Clean out your boost controller.

Unable to help i'm afraid until you declare your *top secret engine mods*
Although the $hitty Bailey DV would be prime suspect.
0.8bar is standard for your MY with fuel cut being 1bar.

engine mods are a lockdown sensor to hold the boost apparently and some wiring my pal done for me around the boost solenoid area not sure myself but i trust him as he has had scoobys most of his driving life inc his 500bhp monster until he wrote it of chasing a ferrari but he aint cheap.i will try getting rid of the dv you speak highly of lol i have the standard valve, i have had it boosting 1 bar just very occaisionaly i even had fuel cut at 1.2ish but has only happened once will report back in a bit after a test drive

Never heard of a 'lockdown sensor'. But it seem to work, locked your boost down ok.

Wiring around the boost/map pack??

I can only think that it is some sort of fuel cut defender.

Some pictures of said sensor and wiring would be interesting.

'lockdown sensor'? sounds like an ebay resistor... Pics would help.
