Sounds like its in limp mode and limiting the boost due to problem someware. have you tried connecting the green and black plugs together under the steering column to get a fault code if there is one?

i have connected the blacks together to flash the code it came up with 32 = AF1, AF2 or Oxygen sensor and 85 = high voltage on the charging system im not sure what the AF sensors are though and im guessing the oxygen sensor is the lambda sensor

Yeah, Lambda has failed. AF=Air/Fuel=Lambda.

I would think that the ECU is pulling the boost due to incorrect fueling input caused by the Lambda sensors failing.
Now where did you get 85 from?? As it is a new one on me.
I can only thing it is related to the Lambda, perhaps a short from the 12v heater on the Lambda.
