Default Overheating, suggestions please ?

Starting to get really annoyed with my car now, only got it back from the garage two days ago and yet again I have a problem

Its a V3 STI Type R, recently had a replacement engine and was fitted by a Subaru specialist

The problem is that its overheating, I wasnt driving fast when it started to happen, I didn't hear any pops bangs or clunks so I'm hoping its not major.

Theres a leak somewhere under the bonnet, I can hear it and also getting what I hope is puffs of steam, it was dark last night so didn't get a great look at it but it seems although its coming from around where the inlet manifold joins the block on the right hand side

Anyone care to take a stab at it ?

thanks

you have water lines beside mani for idle control valve, return to pump, heater matris etc. i've just had the same problem. Coolant level low due to leak = overheat, and airlock.
Im going to fill up and bleed then trace mine. I have a suspicion its my rad.

long shot this but i was having simular troble, fight if you look in front of the iacv and down to the block there is a rubber pipe about 1cm in diameter, that goes to a metal pipe that leads to the front of the engine, mine had a smaal pinhole in it, causing it to steam loads, i took hose off bit of washing up liquid and pushed hose on further than normal then new clip, i will try to take picture for you in next half hour

na picture is pantz, right it is the right handside hose on the iavc, it runs underneath then onto a metal pipe that leads to the front of the car

turns out it was a burst pipe that involves removing the inlet manifold
