Hi

On a Sapphire Cosworth 215/35/18 is the correct tyre size. 225/40/18 is a touch too big. The rolling circumference is greater than the standard tyre so the speedo will read wrong etc etc.
Although 215/35s are technically the correct size for the car, the width of your wheels (8J) means that the tyre is slightly too narrow for the rim so you must have a bit of the rim exposed.
If you have been running these and are happy with them I would just stick with them. As mentioned, the Uniroyal Rainsport 2 tyres are getting good reviews at the minute and are very popular. We are selling loads of them!
Give me a shout for prices.

Thanks

Keith
