Whats the best decat and turbo pipe for a impreza STI 98??? by this i mean for power.
i dont want to fork out loads on new ones but dont wana be ripped off.

Hayword&Scott doing best exhausts. Also Afterburner or Ninja. Blitz Nur Spec if you looking for loud system.

backboxes vary a lot in terms of flow and sound, but if your talking about the downpipe decat than as long the pipe is good quality, and is a straight through pipe, performance won't vary between brands. e.g an ebay decat downpipe will be crap quality, a haywood and scott one will be miles better quality but won't release any extra horses.

I went cheap to begin with (Buy cheap, buy twice) the lambo sensor melted and had all sorts of problems.

Went for hayward and scott the second time and not a single problem. I have a 98 sti as well.
