new subaru oil filters?
Iv just ordered a genuine subaru oil filter and sump washer from scoobyworld for my 2003 WRX, noticed that theyre now blue instead of black, was looking at one the same on ebay that had this statement
Anyone have any other info about this, i.e was there a reason? Presumably they still flow the same etc despite being smaller?
'The oil filter has recently changed part number from a 15208AA100 over to the American 15208AA12A and is now a blue smaller filter instead of the previous black filter.'

i contacted my local dealer and they confirmed the part number was ok. Said it was just due to shipping from Canada rather than Japan.
Its been on my car for two weeks and all is well, i also purchased from Scoobyworld
