Hello, i've just bought a WRX 2002 (03 plate). Can you put a PPP on it or not? It's not an STi...

yes you can, well worth doing.

You would be better off getting a remap from one of the pros rather than the prodrive kit.

You could buy and fit the bits and bobs. Far better IMO to go custom route - get a sportcat or decat downpipe, remove all other cats and get it mapped. See about 270 bhp. May need other, relatively minor mods (fuel pump, injectors??).

I have an 03 WRX that I wanted to add PPP to, so I kept checking ebay. Bought a centre decat pipe, Prodrive Intercooler pipe, and Prodrive Backbox, all for under £200 and all fitted DIY. Then just a remap from Duncan@RaceDynamix, was all worth it as it really goes now. Just remember to declare all the mods to the insurers :P

I did just that, got all the PPP bits off here and ebay... paid around £200 for the ECU but i would say get a custom remap for the extra £250ish... you could then get the max out of your car, prob 280bhp. Add a Sti Intercooler and a fuel pump to the list before the remap

Worth doing as others have said, mine does go well now :-)

I did the same to my wrx fitted ppp parts then added the ppp map with a tactrix cable did the lot for about £250 was well worth it but then fitted front brembo brakes and tbh thought this was the perfect balance of cost vs performance for a wrx and when I wanted more I changed the car
