Default What would you UPGRADE first, DROPLINKS or CRANKSHAFT pulley ?

Hi. I am planning to treat myself for Christmas and cannot decide what to do first. Options are:

1. WHITELINE uprated Droplinks (rear only)
2. Lightweight Crankshaft pulley

What would you do? And also, would lightened crankshaft will be good combination with Lightened flywheel (not a proper light one, standard one lightened to 8kgs) ?

Cheers guys !

"there is no need to 'uprate' the std oil pumps as they already push around 6BAR of oil pressure!!"

6 bar is on cold start mate,it falls to about 2/2.5 bar on warm idle and the 'uprated' one's only really have better plungers in them anyway as they are a common failing point along with the screw's coming loose that hold the backing plate over the pump gear's.

Completely different mods. Both are good, drop links front and rear if you do them.

Go with a proper lightweight flywheel and see how you get on, you may find you don't need to do the crank pulley. I wouldn't ever let a machined standard flywheel near my car.

Whatever you do, do it right.

A version 2? Is it on the original suspention? If so I'd change that first and then have it aligned. I had a 93 WRX a while back on OE shocks and springs and the difference with the new stuff was night and day.

Whilst the pulleys look great and you are shedding quite a bit of weight I would still go for the droplinks deffo a good mod..
