Hope this helps

VF47 - JDM WRX (S-GT)
VF49 - JDM STi

Both used on the hatchbacks, I believe they both use divided thrust bearings.

The VF49 should be capable of around 360/370bhp with the right supporting mods so not really a great improvement.

vf47 would be pointless then? what is an s-gt btw?

my brother should be able to get a prodrive vf49 with 33/34mil restrictor pill would that fit straight on the car?

The S-GT is basically a JDM WRX.

Why would you want a restrictor on a road car unless your building a rally car that is, I think the VF49 is a direct fit with oil/coolant lines from the donor car (but perhaps someone else can confirm).

Hi there if you are really hungry for power(and turbo) you can consider GT3071(which is standard rotated),i'm considering in future this turbo(much cheaper than MD range aswell)

i dont think he'll need the restrictor but it comes with the turbo.. he wants to stay twinscroll on his car.. vf49 is pretty cheap.. was just seeing if it is a worthwhile upgrade.. before spending 1000 on a litchfield twinscroll turbo.

jura: me personally going 321v on my bugeye
