snow chaos
got stuck in the snow two days ago rather unexpectedley, tried a few times to free wheels and grab any traction possible. Problem is the car revved three times to about 5500-6100 rpms with my bov letting off still didnt get free, but eventualy got towed. Started the car two days later when weather subsided a bit and stretched the cars legs with the blow off valve blowing off alot quieter than normal kept trying for another 25 mins or so at 4000-6000 rpms still blowing off very quietley, pulls over had a look the BOV is securley attached the hose connected to the top section of the BOV is tightly secure and the blanking stopper is tightly secure on the large pipe associated to the intercooler before the BOV was fitted like 5mths ago. The bov is a Blitz bov not sure if its ddrive or the venturi one, the mouth attached is not that of screw on type its in two pieces each half is tightened on by an Allen key or Hex key, i used an Allen key that fiited to check it was tight, heard it could be the spring or interchangeable diaphramgn its supposedley ment to have. Sorry for description regarding this as ive searched online franticly over the last two days trying to locate what bov it is and any known blow-off problems associated..thanks meantime.
