Default What fuel pump is in?

What fuel pump is in a 2002 factory prodrive STi? Is it enough to reach the 400bhp mark, or do I just simply buy a Walbro 255? What other options are there?

normal subaru pump, would be hard worked at 400 if it even got there, would need walbro or bosch.

Would advise swapping it based on it's age alone...

It will have a walbro or eqivalent (sp) in if its a prodrive, but as dunx say defo worth swapping due to age..

A friend of mine nearly lost a brand new forged 2.5 motor because the mapper and the engine builder both assumed that his classic had a suitably uprated fuel pump...

Luckily I had advised him to fit a Defi fuel gauge and under WOT the fuel pressure was seen to droop under boost, i.e. run lean...

A re-map was then needed to sort things out !
