Possible? I think so, but I've not done it myself.
It may involve a full DASH change since the instruments differ in shape, which in turn would need the later doorcards..........you see where this is going?
And then the wiring?.
By the time you've done, would it maybe be cheaper to get a slightly newer car?

Yeah I see where its going ive sourced most of the dash bits no doorcards yet not sure if they will need changing straight away or just later to match.
The only thing im struggling with is getting a electrical speed signal instead of mechanical.
How do people get around this when they fit newer gearboxes to cars which have the mechanical type and the box has the electrical type.

all you will need is a speed sensor from a facelift gearbox. they do 2 and 3 wire the 3 wire has an earth, ing feed, and the speed signal. the 2 wire has a speed sgnal wire and an earth that comes from the back of the clocks.

Well my V5 clocks turned up today so I thought I would take out my old clocks and see how much difference their was and to my surprise my old clocks don't have a mechanical speedo feed its electrical so this should make my changing of the dash a bit easier as I have a complete dash coming to me with a wiring loom from a uk V5 so hopefully fitting shouldnt be as much of a problem.
