Default w00p - Just won ESL

Just won an ESL daughter board on the bay (hope its not stolen/locked) - looks genuine as there is an impreza parked outside the guys house on street view.

Anyway, my car is a 1993 WRX Classic (imported a couple of years ago)

So far it has:
Tubular Headers
Up Pipe
Down Pipe
Magnex from down pipe back
Front Mount Intercooler
Walbro 225
K&N Cone Filter
Gizzmo Electronic Boost controller
Oil Cooler

I run it on Tesco 99 in the car

I was thinking of getting 550cc injectors for it, as its was last dyno'd @ 310bhp so the standard ones probably pretty maxed out

What other things should I get? Fuel rails? fuel pressure reg?

Cheers

James

Yep TD05, as standard on the WRX for that age... Im after as much power as possible... its a track car, so not a daily driver.

would u not consider a bigger turbo or u wanting reliability of the gearbox etc. id go for 440cc injectors. they should get to limit of the td05 an prob cheaper. also if u get 550cc inj u probs wont need an fpr

It all depends on price of what a bigger turbo goes for, and what kinda turbo should i be looking at?

550cc will probably be cheaper in the long run wont they if i dont have to buy fpr's and what not.

Stick to genuine 18G's though if you are looking down that route... lots of copies that will either not make the power or kill themselves with a few days (or both).

Got yourself a bargain there James

Aye will have to save up for that first, probably wont be this year, so will get it mapped by you with whats on it now.

Not that much of a bargin though, just priced it up with the quote you gave me supplied fitted and mapped... only saved a couple of quid... but i suppose every little helps.

Now do i replace my ECU with this one, or just install the ESL into my ecu?
