Default Can a flexi joint be repaired?

My HKS hi-power centre pipe flexi section on my v4 type-r is blowing, is there any way of repairing it?

You can buy replacement section mates and have them welded in

Flexi joints suck so just replace it with a decent pipe that doesnt have them on as they will just split again
