The two mentioned can travel to YOU too.

There's also Bob Rawle, Pat Herbron, Andrew Carr, Andy Forrest, etc, etc.... The world's your oyster. Where are you located?

In addition to these there is also Paul Blamire at Zen Performance, Martyn Jeffery and Dave Rowe.

Its actually depends on who can be nearest now as all the above names are good. I have used Richard Bulmar and Bob Rawle. I have seen Dave Rowes name but not heard of anyone on here using him? Where is he based?

Considering we've been building and mapping some of the quickest cars around for some considerable time, I think it's about time Martyn was mentioned along with the above!

Yes, Alan you're totally right.

My bad, I simply reeled off the first names that immediately entered head. That's why I added "etc., etc." But really sorry I didn't mention yet another mapping guru anyway.

hi kev
personally i cant rate bob rawle highly enough, tried to get the very best and still a safe map out of a good friends v1 with simtec ecu
bob got much more from the car than previous mapper(who i wont name on this forum as its rude )
during the map there was minor issues with a coil pack at high boost he still allowed time to swap them on the day to avoid having to abandon it,
Bob is based in swindon and will travel if required to you,

Best vfm option is Simtek. Or PFC (but not 'the bargain' as it was when the £/$ was strong )

Dave has strong links to Roger Clark Motorsport.
On another note, unlike some mappers who are frankly geeky, he's a proper bloke, the kind we have a lot of time for.

The wee man needs an aftermarket ECU, Apexi, Simtek, Syvecs etc.
Any of the above are perfectly capable.

But where would all us sad Scooby fans be without said 'geeks', eh? ...

...By the side of the road nursing a broken car, that's what.

So, all hail the mapping geeks!

SimTek and sell the Blitz boost controller as simtek has very good boost control, or keep it if you like it and budget allows.

ESL have been developing a board for the v3/4 and when I spoke to Andy there this week that were mapping the demo car on one but still not sure of release date.
