hi people quick question i have a subaru wrx jdm turbo my95
now normally i only ever use v power or tesco99.
but last week i put bp ultimate in it. since i have noticed my knock sensor going a little mad when booting it, can this be cause by me putting bp ultimate in it. as i have been told it can but need second opinion kind regards ben

 

forgot to say my car has simtek in it so that the engine management light is now the knock sensor for the engine

 

Possibly the worst fuel available for impreza turbos....

Bp Ultimate is only 97 guess your car was mapped for either of the 99 ron fuels?
If that is the case slap some octane booster in it or drive carefully until you put in the fuel it was mapped for.
