Default MOT Brake Test.. Locking Wheel Prob

Hi

Just wondered what the score is with a problem i had recently.

I took my Impreza for a mot test, while on the rollers for the brake test after applying the brakes, the rear drivers side wheel locked up and wouldn't free itself. The tester just looked bewilldered and kept trying to drive off with the wheel locked on. In the end he switched the engine off & re started and it was fine.

Is there a proceedure for this test & can you do any damage if you arn't used to an awd system..??

Cheers

yep possibly your centre diff has been damaged as it may well have been locked up causing the wheel to lock> report it incase of a future failure.
