EJ257 block pegging
Has anyone had there EJ257 block pegged to strengthen the block?
If so, where did you get it done and at what cost?
Cheers

I haven't had it done but you could speak to Paul Finch, Finchmotorsport, Northampton, contact details on their website. I've seen pegged EJ257s in his workshop.

Typically the block will be inspected and bores measured. Then the block will be machined and pegged.
Once pegged the bores will be remeasured. If they have changed shape at all then they will be honed back to round to suit the required pistons. If the bores havent changed then the block will not be rehoned.
PM me for prices
