Default potentiometer calibration???

does any one no how to calabrate a potentiometer and the idle air control valve on a 1993 wrx import?

You'll need a digital multimeter to align the throttle sensor properly. Got one?

Yeah I have I'm a mechanic and have set up a few before on other cars just not sure of the procedure on an ImpreZa.

Sorted. Easiest way to do it is to lift the front passenger footwell carpet and the cover plate exposing the ECU, then check Slipstream_UK's manuals thread for the ECU pinout. Set your meter to voltage and then run the probes to the throttle position sensor signal wire and the sensor ground. Start the engine, leave it idling, loosen the two pot fixing screws, and then rotate the sensor in relation to the throttle body until your meter is showing 0.48-0.5 volts. Tighten the screws back up and you're done.
