Default ALARM HEEEEEELLLLLLLP

Fitting an alarm to an early 93 classic wrx import wagon and one of the wires either needs to go around a high coil on the ac setting or prefaerably into an oil pressure light on the dc setting.

basically it needs to reading a change in current to see if the engine is running or not. where would you all put this wire ??????????

any help appreciated asap please hopefully fitting it tomoz

no it has to be to some sort of engine running affected wire in order to stop it from cranking over for the remote start but also to tell the alarm that the car is running so handbrake isnt an option

would the yellow acc wire not do, it wont be live with the keys out but would be with them in, ok it wouldnt know if its started or not but should do what you want,
If you have the keys in your not going to use the remote start anyway.

this could possibly cause a fault with the remote start i imagine though as tht comes on whether engine running or not would also affect the cut off should someone hot wire it

DO NOT FIT THAT ALRM TO YOUR CAR.....................

i have been an alarm installer for over 15 years now and the type of alarm u want to fit is the worst possable alarm in the world, it is a cheap remote engine start alarm from ebay or some cheap jap company, it will not work correct on your car as you do not have ht leads, please for the love of your starter motor and other parts do not fit it, if you want remote engine start get either a clifford or viper system fitted by a compitent fitter............

systems like the clifford 6540mkII with the intellistart 5 or viper 480xv ( check first)

sorry if it not what u want to hear mate but experience in this department is what i am good at
