Default 02 Wrx still feeling rough

Bought my 2002 Wrx saloon not that long ago, 66k on the clock.

Now hasnt had a service in a while although thats being done this week, I removed the Baileys dumpvalve but the car is still feeling rubbish.

Basically if you blip the throttle theres not instant response, quite a big hesitance, theres no mid range power in the car, and sometimes feels on/off power.

Can it be a AFM issue, boost solonid, acutator issue?

The car was fited with a boost gauge and boosts up to 8psi easily with now blips or funny issues.

Sorry its vague!!
Thanks

get it to a specialist and get them to have a look, could be any number of things from maf to map, to other sensor etc. you could chase it round hte engine bay and still not solve it.
