how could you tell if you have a uprated fuel pump already fitted to ya motor???

my car is mapped by previous owner @ 16psi and cant find no paper work for uprated fuel pump so befor i buy 1 i would like to check!! any help would be great. regards alex.

 

Take it out and have a look. Its in the fuel tank.

 

About the only way to be sure.

u dont live in romford area as im sure ive seen the car in your pic floating about

 

i know mine has as 1- i fitted it, and 2- mine screams like wanno! can hear it well loud!

 

quite possiably me im in hockley, its near rayleigh on the 127. im with an agency in hornchurch and travel to purfleet on a regs for work also.

 

i prob aint got 1 then as my renault 5 one used to scream and the scoobs is quite as anything!!! cheers

 

not saying you havent as if its been mapped previous im sure most mappers ask or install an uprated fuel pump as part of the job, just i noticed a large difference in the noise when fitted the uprated fuel pump

 

im gona have to pull it out and check. if it aint got 1 il have it uprated as i want it mapped again looking for 300bhp
